Rollei presents new HD camcorder: Rollei Movieline DV5
Hamburg, 16/01/2009 – With the stylish and ultra-compact Rollei Movieline DV5, RCP-Technik presents a new camcorder for first-time filmmakers. Videos are recorded in high definition and 5 megapixel photos can be taken with the camera. The Rollei Movieline DV5 will be available in black, red and blue from February.
Thanks to its compact form of 41x117x71 mm, you can take the lightweight (165g) Movieline camcorder with you everywhere – always ready for the next clip in brilliant high-definition resolution (max. 1440 x 1080p). Depending on the selected resolution, 16:9 and 4:3 picture formats are available. The video clips or photos can be stored on SDHC cards with capacities of up to 8GB. Videos are stored in the space-saving H.264 format and photos are stored as JPGs. Both can be transferred quickly to your PC or MAC via the fast USB 2.0 interface.
The Rollei Movieline DV5 impresses with its intuitive handling, and is ideal for video beginners. Thanks to its ergonomic grip, the camera is easy to use with a single hand, so that fascinating action clips from all positions are guaranteed. Complete motif control is possible, thanks to the 2.5-inch LCD monitor, which can be rotated 270 degrees. Specific details and large scenes can be zoomed in on using the 5x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom. Additional features, such as a digital image stabiliser for videos and photos, or handy motif programmes like the snow or sport mode, facilitate spontaneous recordings and produce
optimal results.
The Rollei Movieline DV5 will be available in the shops from February in the trendy colours red, blue and black, and the scope of delivery includes headphones and a tripod.
