Rollei lifestyle as a double act. The new Compactline models with eight and ten megapixel
Rollei Compactline 80
Behind its lightweight casing (weighing just 140g), the Rollei Compactline 80 conceals a wealth of photo technology. A large 1/2.5-inch CCD sensor resolves photos with eight megapixels and records videos in full VGA quality with 640 x 480 pixels, which, thanks to the built-in stereophonic loudspeaker, are truly amazing. A 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom provide the desired level of image enlargement. The 16 motif programs, which include night-shot, snow and firework modes, help to ensure the ideal setting in virtually any situation. A practical feature is the face and smile detection function – which means that faces are automatically brought into focus by the camera at just the right moment.
Rollei Compactline 100
This camera cuts an exceptionally fine figure thanks to its elegant silver and black finish. Even slimmer than its sister model, it weighs in at just 120 g. The Rollei Compactline 100 can produce razor-sharp pictures thanks to its large 1/2.3-inch CCD sensor with a maximum of ten megapixels, it is also adept at recording moving images in proven VGA quality.
The 3x optical zoom and 5x digital zoom achieve a focal length of 35.5 mm to 106.5 mm (35 mm film equivalent). In addition to the popular smile and face detection functions, featuring no fewer than 23 motif programs, this camera also offers individual and creative options for every situation.
The new Rollei Compactline models are now available in shops. The accessories include the "PhotoStudio 9" photo editing software from Zoner. Stylish camera bags to match the respective colour of the camera are also available for the Rollei Compactline 80.

Cameras which are simple to use and function superbly – Rollei's history began in a Braunschweig workshop in 1920 under this motto. Rollei established its global reputation as a manufacturer of precision devices with its binocular Rolleiflex, a trend-setting roll film camera. It soon became the standard tool for professional photographers and the dream of all amateurs. In May 2007, RCP-Technik GmbH & Co. KG, a company based in Hamburg, purchased the Rollei brand license rights for the sale of digital consumer cameras and accessories throughout Europe. The camera portfolio includes the three product lines 'Compactline', 'Flexline' and 'Sportsline'. Excellent service is available for all Rollei consumer cameras: the 24-month all-around care-free package offers the possibility of exchanging the camera for a new device within 8 days, in the event of damage.
