Hamburg, December 2008 – the entry level camera, Rollei RCP-8330X, is beginning the winter season in four colors. Green, pink and white are now available, as well as black. The digital camera from the compact series has a resolution of 8 megapixel and records video clips in full VGA quality. A brilliant overview is ensured, thanks to the 3.0″ color LC display with 230,000 pixels. The 3x optical Rollei Apogon zoom enables even distant scenes to be brought within reach.
 
The camera contains over 20 motif programs; photos can therefore be taken using the most suitable setting. For example, snow mode optimizes shots taken on the ski slopes, and candlelight mode ensures the photos you take during your cozy Christmas dinner turn out well. With 'Smile Detection', the smiles of your family and friends will be captured at just the right moment. And if things become a little bit more hectic, the efficient 'Rollei Anti Shake Function' helps reduce the number of blurred images. Another creative feature is the 'Coupling-Shot', which combines two photos into one picture: the family photo can thus be extended afterwards to include the missing people.
 
The RCP-8330X has been available in the colors pink, white, green and black since June at specialist photo retailers. In addition to the bag and the 1 GB SD card, the 'Zoner PhotoStudio 9 Express' software package is also supplied with the camera.

The RCP-8330X costs 99.95 Euro (RRP) and is now available.
