The Rollei Compactline 80 is the perfect accessory for the forthcoming New Year's Eve party. This slim-line compact camera is available in a choice of trendy colours (pink, white or black) and features an 8 megapixel resolution. Behind its lightweight casing (weighing just 140g), the Rollei Compactline 80 conceals a wealth of photo technology. A large 1/2.5-inch CCD sensor resolves photos with eight megapixels and records videos in full VGA quality with 640 x 480 pixels, which, thanks to the built-in stereophonic loudspeaker, are truly amazing. A 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom provide the desired level of image enlargement. The 16 motif programs, which include night-shot, snow and firework modes, help to ensure the ideal setting in virtually any situation. A practical feature is the face and smile detection function – which means that faces are automatically brought into focus by the camera at just the right moment.

The 3x optical zoom and 5x digital zoom achieve a focal length of 35.5 mm to 106.5 mm (35 mm film equivalent). In addition to the popular smile and face detection functions, featuring no fewer than 23 motif programs, this camera also offers individual and creative options for every situation.
